I was looking for a Halloween craft idea or two to attempt this season. While I like buying stuff (and I do) I also like making something to add to the mix. I still like my gauze ghosts, though I think they probably need to be re-done this year or next, and my luminarias are probably my favorite cheap addition ever. Mom likes the haunted house Widget and I worked on, and my 90% finished Martha Stewart wreath is only unfinished because the kit didn't come with enough leaves. But I just position it so you can't see the empty part and use it to circle the Halloween candy dish. I never attempt anything huge because I am very good at getting hyped for something but my skills are iffy at best.
So if you see something, pass it along and I might very well give it a whirl if it doesn't require a ton of cash or a crap ton of room. That last one is why I haven't commited to the pumpkin topiaries that I kind of want to do. :P
Dear fingertips, why are you peeling? Are you not liking the hand washing going into overdrive now that school is back in session? Is it a delayed reaction to my fingers being pinched like hell two weeks ago? What is it?
