In shopping related news, AG's having a free shipping with purchase of $75 or more. Considering I have that coupon for a free dress/outfit if I spend $50 I was curious. Turns out that unless this is a glitch, the free outfit is the Lilac Meet dress they've got hidden away on the site for $14. It's a shitty freebie and AG should feel bad about themselves if this is actually what they're considering a gift. And I say this as someone who kinda liked the Starfleet looking outfit. But I don't need or want another one. I've got at least two. I'm good, thanks.
Good job, I guess? I was considering either ordering something for me or asking Mums for something but if this is the freebie, all they'll get is a polite 'this is why you can't have nice things/my money' email.
Because I am nothing if not a basic bitch (I mean, I guess), I occasionally order wax melts from an indie vendor and have off and on for the past few years. I really liked her business model when I originally found her as it was really simple and did not involve a fucking stampede/rush to get stuff you wanted. Alas, as time went by she made some changes which turned into more changes and now she's probably closing up shop. Which is surprising to me because her FB group is filled with people who make insane orders on the regular but maybe it just seems that way? I dunno. So I made what could be my last order with her and I'm sad because now I have to try and find someone who does things the easy way and not "we're open for half a second every third month and we announce it to only a select few and they will cut you if you try and order anything but thanks so much for your business, k?"
And now we attempt sleep.
