Dec. 18th, 2018 11:22 amHad a rant all revved up and ready to go yesterday but I decided to sit on it and see if it still bugged me later. And it did until it didn't. So you've been spared me ranting like a crazy person, though I will say that I find it kind of funny that when asked, the board of "you don't have to spend a lot to be a fan" skipped right over the truly helpful suggestions and instead made a $400 recommendation. Like... no. And this is vague and annoying so ( cut for very short version. )
I sat on it all day yesterday and ultimately went for Melody because Cass gave me a rec for her player that she's had and likes. If you have a recommendation or a warning, feel free to share.
Waiting for the butter to soften so I can make some snickerdoodles. Not thrilled with how fucking blinding the sun currently is. Managed to finally get this place mostly decorated and Mums did a lovely job with the tree. Yesterday was the anniversary of Angel dog's death :( and it's probably why I was in such a pissy mood for most of the day. I did get to hit up Target and I don't think I bought a single stocking stuffer (oops) but I did buy some decorations. Also broke my Halloween wreath and had a visit from the goddaughter. Once more she slept through almost the entire visit but this time she did give the cutest, silliest faces in her sleep and the cat was most mystified by her.
For future reference, self, the combo of Revlon's Gold Get 'Em, Sally Hansen's Glitter Gun and Seche Vive on top is pretty much the prettiest thing in all of forever. Except in the light at work where the gold skews a little too yellow. But otherwise, booful.
Feeling a bit better. Might see if I'm up to assembling mail.
