Jan. 12th, 2019 10:02 amSo... I went for a walk after work this morning. That means I've earned my icecream, right? I do believe my period has kicked in for the all over blahs, but that might also be the cat sitting on my shoulder/head and forcing me into a not comfy sitting position until my back said no more.
Let's see. This week has been weird. I went and got my new glasses Monday and absolutely no one has noticed they're new. I like them, though so that's all that matters. Wednesday morning or Thursday morning, I don't remember which, G told us that one of our regular customers died last week. I feel even worse that I'm not sure I ever knew her name but she was usually very chatty and nice and I worried when she'd disappear for awhile.
Then yesterday was the anniversary of Ari's incident and reading through the post about it was a bit of a trip. But it also means that it's now been more than five years since my best friend was anything even remotely like herself and that's probably not something I'll ever get used to.
So as not to end on a downer, I've managed to keep my vanity counter clean. The sink, however, now seems to be home to a very stubborn spider that will not go away no matter how hard I try. I could squish him (her?) but I'm not quite to the murder stage of this relationship.
