Apr. 28th, 2019 07:23 pmSVH shelf is reassembled and it doesn't look quite right. There was the momentary freakout when I couldn't find Malibu Summer (which apparently got missed in the great LT sweep. DAMMIT- oh wait, someone else already did most of the work and since my recaps always have the pub date, that was easy to look up) but I found that (and possibly the missing BSC book for my PBS stash?) and yet... the shelf looks off.
I think it's because this involved me gathering the books I'd scattered here and there for whatever reasons, and possibly didn't squish the bottom, back row as much as normal, but there's juuuuuust enough room left to basically mock me. And it's not like I'm really missing any books. I'm missing various editions, yes, but that's because I will probably never feel my collection is ~complete~ since there are about four billion book cover variations and I will always be tempted to consider it a big enough difference if one says Book Fair Edition and the other says Now A Hit TV Show or something.
I do not need to be hunting down the more obvious missing versions. I. DO. NOT. Not even for curiosity's sake. *cough*
Also, I just happen to obsess over my books. I need to put the dolls and shiny things back on that shelf and call it a day.
Tomorrow Mums and I are supposed to see Endgame so I can stop worrying about getting spoiled. Mums was willing to try today but yeah, most if not all of the showings we looked at were either sold out or only had the seats that physically hurt you to be in them left. Plus they were all the evening or later and I'm good waiting an extra day to save money.
Probably for the best since the weather changing has slapped me in the face and I feel like crap right now. :P I've been watching the new season of She-Ra, which I'll save my thoughts for later but... why is this season so short?
