Aug. 2nd, 2019 11:18 amQuick question before I go lie down because I don't feel great: who was the genius that decided to finally give my childhood church back its steeples...right before the busy part of hurricane season?
Damn near 30 years after they fell (and made Highway 17 impassable) they decide yup, let's do this thing. I remember vaguely that immediately after the storm, the church was gung-ho about replacing them and then as time went on, it turned out that the insurance company had decided it was kind of pointless since the next hurricane would just do the same thing.
