In case you wondered, moving my mattress didn't set off even the slightest twinge of pain in my back. I was ready to holler and have Mums come do the moving as I supervised at the first pre-twinge of pain. Nothing. But just standing this morning after I got home set it off. Back, I don't understand you.
Sometimes when I'm a little loopy due to lack of sleep or something, I indulge random ideas more than I probably should. So my 3am thought Monday morning that I should totally buy swatch sticks for my nail polish? That happened. I'm also 99% sure that I did the exact same thing I mentally scoffed at someone else for doing: way lowballing the number of sticks I'm going to need. Debating ordering another set but also not wanting to because I ordered 150. I... don't really know if I want to have 300 rattling around. They do take up way less space than I envisioned, at least in their non-used form.
And then I got the brilliant notion that I definitely needed a label maker for this project because of course I do. And I put it off for a couple of days before deciding that yup, totally need one because like hell I'm printing, cutting, and taping labels and as anyone who has ever seen my handwriting knows: you can't read that shit. So I do a little research and order one, along with the tape to go with it because clear tape will make this project PERFECT. I was, however, totally willing to go with silver glitter tape had the purple label maker not had absolutely awful reviews. Yes. I debated for a good solid half an hour buying one that cost almost twice as much just because it was pretty and purple. But I didn't and that should count for something.
Anyway, I ordered and it was one day shipping. Yesterday at dinner I look around to see if I just missed a box or envelope (Amazon has been loving their envelopes lately) and nope. It's been delayed. But the message was most disconcerting and they wanted me to wait until Sunday to contact them if it hadn't shown up. Um, what part of one day shipping did you not understand? And also, my brilliant plan starts Sunday. Wtf. After I got home this morning I looked again and it finally showed some movement. Maybe. So I have hope of it appearing today but if it doesn't, Amazon is getting a polite fussing at tomorrow.
Question: So when I start the swatch-a-thon, do I go by brand, color, or proximity to keyboard?
Oh. And Wednesday Mums and I stopped by TJ Maxx and Marshalls and I found my cauldron kitty I spent all last year looking for and a cute witch and her kitty... plus two cups/mugs/whatever. :D Pictures when moving doesn't hurt.
