Feb. 25th, 2021 07:45 amI'd completely forgotten that we should've been rolling in Toy Fair news at this point (well, last weekend, I guess?) but COVID and all.
Anyway, apparently Monster High is coming back annnnnnd AG is up to this:
My feelings are mixed. On the one hand, purple hair! Blue hair! I'd squee more over the green/aqua hair but it's hard to see and is an odd mix. Not classic mold!
On the other hand, I kinda hate each outfit. Like full body cringe hate. I like the silver boots well enough but the others... I'm getting Ed Hardy vibes. Someone said 90's and nope, this is like mid 00's for me. I also wish they'd give the dolls lips again. Who do I have to maim around here to get some lip color, dammit?
Oh. Someone else went, "Ooh, Disney Descendants!" I mean technically blue hair, purple hair, and aqua/green... but it feels like a stretch.
With all that said, I do want to see better pictures of them because AG, you have my interest.
As to the MH thing, make enough to meet demand. Don't brag that your It/Shining dolls sold out in under 2 minutes and then not fucking make enough. Because they sold out to scalpers, dammit. That is one thing I do not miss at all about MH.
