Work kicked my ass this week and I'm not sure why beyond the usual: dayshift is short-staffed so that means nightshift is expected to pickup the slack and still do our regular jobs and since my stupid brain is still very much set on "but you used to be able to do all this stuff and now you're lucky if you complete three things, wtf is wrong with you"... there are issues. Brain, we've been over this. I could complete all that shit because I had a coworker most nights and yes, being by myself two nights out of five does actually make a difference. This is NOT NEWS. Sigh.
But also, everything else opening back up to pre-COVID times except we're still the only damn thing open overnight? The wave of people never ends and since Covid is still a fucking thing, panic attacks do happen and I literally do not have time to freak out over this. Rinse. Repeat. Lose sanity. Fun. Work profits?
Sprinkle on corporate deciding this week was the perfect time to update systems and then have them fucking not work properly after said updates and yeah, it sucks. Oh, and the night before Easter? Still busy as fuck. Turns out the night before that is busier still.
What else, what else. My Zoya order finally showed up. And one of the polishes exploded. I suppose it was bound to happen at some point but the fact that you have to text them (or agree to have them handle it via text) is just insane. I don't require someone work CS in the offhours. Just lemme email or fill out a form and say hey, this happened, and then you can email me when business hours kick in again. Ugh.
Now. If you need me, I'm debating watching that Kid90 doc and waiting for the new Disney stuff to show up online. I've got my eye on a couple of the new nuiMOs outfits.
