Mar. 29th, 2021 03:23 pmFirst dose down. Mums and I braved the Coliseum this morning for her dose and you can tell that we haven't been there in eons. But we made it and got into our line and no one got run over despite all the people running out in front of moving cars like it was no big deal. Her shot was blink and you miss it and we both actually missed them putting a bandaid on her. The 15 minute wait after was more like at 5 minutes they rounded by everyone to see if anyone needed any attention and just hadn't honked and then said when the line started to move it was time to go. That happened at minute 10, btw.
Came home for a bit, Mums had something to eat and I chatted with Cass. Then off we went to not!work and wow. It is always so weird going into a Wags I don't work at and seeing the differences. This one looked like a tornado hit it and it had many a $1 section but like... no customers for the front end and somehow even less employees than ours, and we're on the barest of skeleton crews once more. I handed over my paperwork and insurance card, waved to the pharmacy manager who used to be at my store, and then waited for them to call me. That took... awhile. My shot wasn't quite as quick as I turned my head thinking it would be done and nope. Still there. *shrug* I then wandered the store for another ten minutes, grabbed a thing of litter for the boy kitties, and checked out. It took forever to get home, alas, and that meant we didn't stop for lunch because the traffic was horrible and we didn't want to chance it. Woe is me.
Now to decide whether I wish to nap or stay up and do... I dunno. Something.
