Apr. 29th, 2021 12:21 pmSo B quit sometime over the weekend. Not sure if she worked Sunday and then quit or if she quit before then, but I came in to work last night and saw my to do list was just for me. Jokingly, I asked P what she did to B and when her answer was a little too serious I had to ask if she meant B seriously quit.
It's literally the busiest we've been since I started working here and I'm working alone all the time again.
Oh. Got my Covid shot #2 Monday. It wasn't terrible Monday, as I didn't get super sleepy or anything beyond a little fuzzy around the edges. Not quite dizzy but not quite right either. I had to go back in and get them to date and sticker my card but otherwise the appointment was much faster than the first. Anyway, side effects wise, day 2 my arm felt as bad as everyone said theirs did after shot 1 and the dizziness was more of a thing. I'm not sure if any of the other weirdness was allergies (ooh) or period (ahh) but I can say for certain that the pain in my arm and the growing red splotch on the same arm are definitely from the shot. I called out Tuesday which is why I didn't find out about B until last night. Honestly, had I known it was going to be just me for the foreseeable future, I probably would've called out last night, too. I still felt weird and the splotch definitely grew.
Sigh.
