Look, I see snow very rarely so it's always news when it snows. Even if, according to FB, it happens pretty regularly on this particular date in history. Huh. Good to know.
Anyway, at work I watched the rain turn to big fluffy snowflakes after my lunch break (so from 3:30am-4:10am-ish) and on the way home went through sleet/hail over the connector. Got home and went on a walk after bundling up. Nada. I give up and settle in to some FB scrolling and see D mention snow. So I peek outside. Nope. Then I figure that since the sun has disappeared, I'll give it another chance, so I slip on my shoes and head out, ignoring the fact that my hair is wet and I don't have any sleeves on... and snooooooooooow!
I grabbed Mom who lasted longer than I thought but then the wind kicked up and we both went "cold-cold-cold!" and went back in. I put on my sweater and went back out and enjoyed the snow and also enjoyed watching the cat across the way watch the snow. So cute!
It's weird that the first person I ever think to bug when I notice it's snowing is my brother. Then I think to bug Thomas (I did holler up the stairs but he's asleep) and then other people. But always my brother first. Not so much when I was home, but at work? I seriously debated getting my phone out of my locker and texting him... at 4am. I did not, but I thought about it.
Snow! There's no chance of it sticking but it's fun to watch. ♥
