Behold. Mel. The single prettiest character in the show. I shall not say more because, well, spoilers.


Work was weird as hell. Pulled up and saw a generator outside by the trashcan. Walked in, having to carefully walk over numerous cords, and looked over to the cooler, where the locked door was wide open and things were happening.

I never did really find out what the fuck was going on. I asked the girl I took over for and she made it seem like the cooler died (our freezer has died multiple times so this didn't seem completely outside the realm of possibility) but later on I noticed C had put the milk back on the shelf, so I think the cuckoo bananas person who said someone told her it was just being pressure washed was right after all. But if you walked up to a line of empty cooler doors and someone putting out things, one at a time, as there's water all over the floor and clearly the cooler has been through some shit, would you really demand they go in and search for creamer? Or slog through the water to get to the freezer to see if maybe, maybe there was a box of cheeseburgers? I didn't really mind someone asking once, as you never know til you try, but demanding and getting huffy?

Dude, I am not going on a slip 'n slide journey only to have it promptly freeze as I sift through boxes looking for a needle in a haystack.


As it was, having to lift the top two totes that were filled with single cans o' beer nearly killed me. If I find the person who stacked them that high, I will hurt them. Especially when I realized they... didn't stack ANYTHING ELSE that high and it wasn't like they couldn't just start a new dolly with them.

Which reminds me, gonna have to break out the icy hot and painkillers in a minute.
