(no subject)

Context isn't at all the same, but basically me before I clocked in last night.

As I was heading to clock in (the perk of the boy taking me to work is I get there early so I can hit the bathroom before my shift), I hear a, "hello!" and I say hello back, figuring it was a coworker. And I was right. But tis a new overnight one, I think. :D So here's hoping I finally have a coworker because uh, this working by myself shit has been beyond terrible.



In other news, I'd forgotten part of why I don't tend to read fanfic as much anymore. Mostly because I lack the time (so many shows to watch, so many books to read, so many hours to just spend staring blankly at a screen in general), but also because you'll find one that starts off SO WELL and you'll sacrifice sleep... only to realize that a) it's not finished and b) it started off well because they really captured the three or four characters they started with, but then they looped in someone else and not even chanting, "AU, AU, AU!" works.


Fandom crazy outcrazied themselves yesterday. It wasn't even glorious, it was just, "dude, take a nap." levels of wtf.

Gotta check some things and then see if the boy wants to go back to sleep. I should check on my laundry and I'm trying to lay off the crazy today.
