sickness update
Dec. 6th, 2022 10:12 amI did not have the best night. Period decided to make a triumphant return and I'm fairly certain I spoke too soon yesterday when I said I was done with the chills/fever, as this morning I came down and immediately turned off the overhead fan (which I never do), because I was cold, but the thermostat said it was 72. After eating I'm now sweating and have the fan back on.
But right now I do feel better. I suspect I feel better because I'm being propped up by meds and food at this point though. Part of me thinks I should definitely call out. Part of me is pointing out that I do not have the PTO to do so and should go in for a little bit, masked up obviously. We'll see how I feel after my shower. Which I have to wait another hour or so because Widget stole my shower and then started laundry so I have to wait for the water pressure/heat to come back.
Sigh. Kirstie Alley died yesterday which makes me sad. She might've turned out to be just the absolute worst in her personal life, but younger!me adored her stuff. :/ She was on my short list of people I'd watch movies/TV shows for or think "oh, this might not suck terribly" if I saw her in the credits. At the time, this was frequently true, and she's also the only reason I suffered through an Olsen twins movie willingly.
