Nothing like seeing one of your favorite customers and asking how their spouse is only to be told they died six months ago. :/ I felt so bad. I knew I hadn't seen him in awhile but with COVID and both of them having health issues, particularly her, it wasn't unusual to go long stretches without seeing them. I guess I really should've guessed since I think I did see him over the summer but he never bought her cigarettes. :/

She was a nice lady and they were one of those couples who enjoyed teasing each other but not too much. You could tell they were still very much in love.

RIP, Mrs. Sheryl of Hot Wheels fame. I loved hearing you laugh and I'll miss you.
