(no subject)

Hopefully the rest of you had as uneventful weather day Friday as we did here? I know, like Tuesday, there were supposed to be storms (or branches of the same storm?) fucking things up all over the place but here it was very much just a windy day. It was damp and muggy and luckily by the time I went to work it no longer felt like walking into a wet paper bag outside and the wind did not choose to kick up to crazy highs. So yay.

Trying out the new stove this morning. I'd originally planned to try out the oven as well and make banana bread but I want a new recipe as my go to just wasn't doing anything for me the last couple of times. Anyone got one they love and wanna share?

Anyway... gotta say, when it was delivered I was definitely whelmed. I wasn't expecting anything super fancy but I also wasn't expecting no digital clock/timer and no front window. What's weirder is I went to look up reviews on it, because I'm nosy and also a well written review can warn you of any potential fuckery before you run afoul of it yourself, and um... the version WITH those things (so still a basic setup here) was cheaper. And has better reviews.

I do not understand you, LLs. Not even a little bit. Also no word back on part of the outdoor storage ceiling just saying "fuck thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis" last weekend. o_O

Miffed that apparently in the week or so between me looking at Fearidescent Cleo and going to buy her, she's now impossible to find at retail.
