Jan. 23rd, 2024 04:44 amI managed to go through the bins I intended to go through, though it took forever and a day (it took SO LONG having to check EVERY bottle, though I did cheat and skip the WnWs, L'Oreals and stuff I know I haven't gotten new stuff in years) and I still have the Holo Tacos and my two boxes where I put either the new stuff or the stuff I've used in the last year or so but might not have swatched. But I didn't tell myself I had to do those so it's a win. I have not begun the round of swatching for the week though. Kinda want to, kinda don't. Might give it another hour or two since I do have to paint my left hand. *muse*
I did not realize it was going to take forever and a friggin day to also finish the hat on my project. It took two JAG episodes and a Xena ep to finish the freakin' brim. G'ahhhhhhhhhh. So. Do I snack and then go back to one of the projects? Do I snack and call it a day?
What to do, what to do.
Last week at work was pretty nice, actually. Part of it was the January cold snap which keeps people away and part of it was A basically splitting the being stuck up front bit with me. I figure if I don't MIND going out in the cold or stocking the beer cooler and she hates it, and I would very much like to not be stuck ringing all night... tradesies. I do hope we get another minion though.
Also, I can't say last week was perfect because a) very expensive due to Girl Scout cookies landing (so yum) and b) T's father died. :( It's not really a club many people want to join. Trying to figure out something nice to do for her.
