(no subject)

Y'all left me unattended again, so I went ahead and raided the new Sally Hansen Pride collection display at work. In my defense, I did only buy 2. But I did buy them totally based on how pretty I found the bottle and whether I could reach it or not. Grabbed the black (It's Giving) and the blue (Soul Searching). Annnnnnnnd apparently they're not really online, aside from basically a CVS listing, so I guess I'd still be waiting if I'd waited for swatches.



Basically, this year's crop seems to have itty bitty flakies/shimmer and possibly some glitter. I cannot stress to you how much I hate this in the brown polish. It does not bring to mind good things unless you've always wanted to wear sparkly shit on your nails. I'm hoping it looks better actually on the nails because in the bottle it is very... weird.


Have a crappy swatch wheel pic. The black is surprisingly opaque, as this is both in 2 coats. The blue will probably need a third when I wear it, but I am digging the kind of ocean/water vibes. I really did love the way this year's light blue looks but I know it'll look like ass on me, so I didn't buy it.

Was gonna blather about other things but I am now tired and gonna head to bed. Tomorrow is Widget's birthday. He shall be *does math* 24.

Oh, god. He's gonna be 24.
