No annoying ads that make my computer flop around on the floor like a spaz, pretty much unlimited space without the joy of trying to remember 12 different passwords... and it doesn't tend to crap out if four million people decide that the third tuesday of the month is a perfect time to look at your pictures.
Technically it's probably a waste of cash, but it's a tiny sliver of cash, so I dance with glee.
