Cornice and Scene it: HP edition

impyAnyone else get the Harry Potter Scene it? I bought it for Mom for Christmas. We've played twice now, I think, and good god, the muggle questions? How the fuck would I know what the actors do in their spare time? :p [yes, I'm fully aware that if there were a Charmed Scene it and it had similar questions, I would probably know entirely too many answers] I'm pretty spiffy at Divination whereas Mom groans, rolls her eyes, and begs for a re-do. The Tom Riddle letter jumble thing is fairly easy since the odds are pretty good if there's a W, it's a Weasley of some sort. I still feel victorious though when I get 'em. And I feel like a complete ass when I miss any of the ten million Quidditch questions.
The funny thing is I'm pretty good at this but the first Scene It? Ohmygod, I suck so much. It's not even remotely amusing.
But yay for HP Scene It. I won three times yesterday and the fourth time we had to resort to playing special wonky rules so I wouldn't win. :p Tie breakers are fun.
Cornice arrived. I think I have a name for her, but I don't want to say until I have photos to go with. She's gorgeous though. I was a bit worried since she's the Decembruary one I was most in love with and she did undergo a change or twelve. Yes, her hair needs to be washed and conditioned, but it's a nifty color and the makeup works. She's not as evil as I'd been hoping for, but I can work on that. *cough* Her earrings are beyond nifty. There are the purple stick ons and then the other four are actually pierced. I have yet to pry the third on her right ear out from under her hair though, but the hoops are fun to fidget with, and the cross is a bit odd. Her bunny freaks me out though. Raphia's is cute, Corny's is evil. Dolly love!
And I need to come up with a name for Squall, though she might just be Squall for awhile. Once I get over the paranoia about snapping her head off her neck, I think she'll be fun. Changed her outfit and hair and she's just incredibly pretty. She does make me realize that while I thought I'd like Body 1 best, I don't. I think I'm holding out for whenever #4 comes into being. They each have good traits and they each have bad ones.
I should go sleep now. Corny!
Now to hope my preorder email for Nina went through and that I get my invoice for MJ so I can pay him off. Unless there's a stay of execution. That works too.
