Sooo. Two more Saturdays until Vacation. Well, I also have to ask to work that second Saturday, otherwise paychecks and vacation days will be messed up. Or something. Anyway, please remind me that two weeks will not kill me. No, two Saturdays. Weeks sounds much longer.

Picked up mini fridge. Despite the fact that the big fridge is dead, no one has put mini to work. o_O My family worries me, man.

So yesterday was pretty much a wash, other than the fridge being picked up. I could not shake the funk I was in. Dolly love? Yeah, no. Library goodness in the form of a new A-List novel? Yeah, no. Lunch? Nope. All the makings of a good day, but nothing, man.
Though I did finish the Diary section of Life on the Murder Scene and then the two Making Of... bits for I'm Not Okay and Helena. That did manage to cheer me up quite a bit, come to think of it. Then I wrote, badly, and damn near passed out. That was what cleared the day up. If I'd known that's all it would take, I'd have done that hours before. Sigh.

I've had the new AFI song stuck in my head for more than 24 hours. Fuck you, MTV2. It's rude to play a snippet of a video and then go off and play no music for the rest of the day. Wasn't the whole point of MTV2 to have someplace for MTV to play music? Nyaargh.

I wonder how long I can hold onto the computer before someone wants the phone line to see aboot fixing the damn fridge. Hmm.

And now I away to watch Charmed, shower, and ditz off. Yay!

I'll see what I can do about the new A-list book. What # is it? I will probably be able to figure it out, but in the spirit of being lazy, let me know if you get a chance.
