Assuming I do not die, expect X3 rant later. For now, we will say the following:

I don't recall being asked if I wanted to spend $5.50 to see the Storm and Wolverine vs Dark Phoenix show. Head explosions resulted.


If X2 had me leave the theatre in super geek, ohmygod, so awesome mode, X3 ... didn't. But it didn't leave me as cold as the first film. So the love is 2, 3, 1.

But if you see it, we hope by now you know to always stay until the last of the credits roll. Otherwise you just haven't been getting your money's worth.

Since Storm has ALWAYS been a favorite character of mine I was just glad that they FINALLY FINALLY got her right. I HATED her in the first film. She was getting there in X2. LOVED her in X3. Storm kicks fucking ass and doesn't ask questions! Not stand around and wax philosophically about toasting hop toads! >_< Oh, and I have I mentioned my hatred of Scott? NO?! WELLLLLLLLLLLLLL... we saw even LESS of him here than we did in X2! And I was pretty excited by NOT seeing him much in X2, so the fact that they killed his ass off???? I ALMOST WET MYSELF!!!!! *squee*

*grins* I'd have enjoyed Storm more this go round if there'd been someone else to focus my attention on when I got tired of seeing her. [Not sure if I'd have felt the same way had it not been Halle.] But killing Scott! Woe. Not woe. I'm torn. I pretty much screamed with joy anytime they'd come close to, or actually managed to knock him off in any form. I loathe him in everything but the movies. The movies he's at least a little more interesting, so him dying in X3 was mixed. Yay! One of the most boring characters EVER is dead! Boo, I sorta like movie Scott. Yay, he's dead! Round and round it goes. ;)
