impyWhat is it with my mother where she feels compelled to give me good news and then immediately undercut it with something unintentionally bitchy? It's not even like I got the full joyous effect of, y'know, joy before she slammed me with her helpful advice. I'm perfectly capable of switching moods that fast, but it's never good. Even if I go from bad to good, it bleeds bad a little while later.
Meh. Love Mumsy, but she's really good at that trick. I wonder if it's a mom type thing.
In other news, my ankle is killing me. Yup, that's about it. Trip to walmart yielded nothing. They had the new big Baby Bratz [Chloe and yasmin] that go with whatever movie they've got coming out, I think. Chloe's cute, what with the blue stripe in her hair. But I wasn't there for giant baby bratz. They did have the new Bling MS dolls with the real gem. Well, they had Madison and Nolee. Since they didn't have anything I really wanted to spend money on, I left empty handed. Yay for me. But I have every intention of bumming a ride to Books a Million and/or Barnes & Noble. Gift cards are grand.
If you're dying of curiosity, I'm reading Bewitched, Bothered, & BeVampyred which is fantastic on many, many levels. Or maybe just one level, but hey.
Any bets on whether I manage to clean my room, and if so, how clean it gets before I pass the hell out?
