Pinksugarheartattack

impyI think I might be an idiot. Instead of passing out when I originally planned, I ended up watching four episodes of Supernatural. Which was fun at the time, but led to people screaming for me at dinner time. Apparently I slept right through their original calls, or maybe I actually answered and then fell asleep again, as that's what I was doing when it finally hit me that the voices in my dream were echoing just a bit. And now, I'm exhausted once more. It's very odd.
Tis Dad's birthday, and once more I prove my awesomeness with the card. I strive for the laugh until it hurts, but with Dad, you lower your expectations for one of the following:
a) the chuckle
b) the smirk, delayed reaction snicker, and the big grin
I got both. I win. *dance* Normally the card wouldn't be given until after dinner, but the wording suggested it should be given at the start of zee day. Birthday + nun with ruler = amusement.
Back to random things: I'm not big on pink except in small doses. I admire those who love the cotton candy pinktastic sugar rush, but I'm not that girl. However, this bright friggin' pink nailpolish I bought Sunday? Awesome. So smooth. So bright. So shiny. If I could only find the other four bottles that came in the set, I'd be thrilled.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna watch that last full ep of SN I have, attempt to find the second, and try to con someone into making me an appointment to get my dress altered.
