liiiiiiiiiiiist
May. 21st, 2007 01:11 pmI've been bored lately, as you might have gathered, and flipping through the archives of the Tori community. Some things are funnier than funny has any right to be, and sometimes I stop and think. Someone, somewhere, asked what everyone's top 50 was. I thought about it and I think this is as close to narrowed down as I'll get. I could probably knock off the remaining, what, seven? But hell, I wasn't sure I'd make it to 50 without some serious padding, which is just wrong. This is after I shaved a few off once I realized I'd passed sixty. Yeah, ADP gets next to no love, but my discman is dead or dying, and I don't want to sit there for an hour holding the damn thing together. Lumped together in obvious ways, to make it easier on my poor, poor brain.
! = Probably my favorite song initially, sometimes forever and a day. [] signifies a fungus like love. One day I fell into a pit and realized, oh, I love you so.
Tear was due to a friend who commented on it, and then I finally Listened, and bam with the love. Bells for Her happened by accident with a discman and a stuck 'repeat' function. Damage was because of A Piano, there wasn't really a fungus like love for Jackie's Strength, but it's the one I always forget just how much I love it until I think about it for a second. I'm aware that loving Juarez makes me weird, as does Vegas, which I can relate to more than I ever thought humanly possible. Vegas, that is.

Spaces are your friends. As to albums, I can listen to LE and SW far more easily than anything else, since I don't really skip any of the songs. BFP and I are still being acquainted after... a really long engagement. UtP I loved for so long, but I for some reason I can't as much anymore.Tales has that effing remix right in the middle, and we're excluding A Piano for simplicity's sake. I tried to love SLG, and the two I love, I love dearly, but while it will never lose it's place in the CD case, it'll always be in the back of the Tori section, never destined to move forward. Choirgirl holds more sentimental value for me than Tv&B, and I think I like them both more than Beekeeper, which I like just fine, but haven't turned into a slobbering fan girl over. So. Hmm.
Scarlet's Walk/Little Earthquakes
Under the Pink
Boys for Pele
From the Choirgirl Hotel
To Venus and Back
The Beekeeper
American Doll Posse
Strange Little Girls
Yes, I'm aware I'm going to hell for some of that. Where they'll play nothing but remixes of Professional Widow until my ears bleed.
