Dontcha hate it when you find something nifty on ebay, and you're positive that no one in their right mind would bid on it because it's frickin' overpriced [though just barely] but you bid anyway, because you want it and you find some way to justify it... Only to find out you were outbid?

[The problem with overnights and nephews is that I can't sneak back on at dinner and see if I'm winning or not.]

Apparently I wasn't hearing things yesterday, nor was I going insane. It was my phone beeping to tell me that it was T.S.'s birthday, but I didn't do the whole song and dance yesterday [cuz, you know, I forgot while online, remembered off, and never made it back to the computer.] so I suck. Happy belated birthday, T.S.!
