So... I am confused, just a little. What in the hell started the current bout of LJ drama? And why is it that it's been raging for the better part of forever at this moment? Why? It makes my brain ache anytime I try and wrap said brain around said problem involving idiots behind the wheel.

Now, remind me to post pictures of Dee Dee and the Widge. Together they form a story. I just have to take them first. You'll see. Assuming I remember to do so, that is. Promise.

Some people are leaving LJ due to 6A's shitty customer service (IE Implementing a new policy without saying what it is first, and holding users accountable to other policies that aren't in the TOS).

Do a google search. Livejournal Migration, Livejournal Exodus. Whatever. It's basically a continuation of the Livejournaly StrikeThrough. Only, LJ is now trying to protect fiction characters who are miners from having sex (minors that are at *least* 17 ;)). Which isn't a bad thing, except that LJ hasn't veirified *exactly* why the accounts are getting deleted, and people aren't being contacted before their accounts are getting deleted, and the accounts are getting deleted, instead of LJ just deleting the "offensive" artwork.

Meanwhile, communities that support hate, abuse and anorexia/bulimia are allowed to continue to be on LJ despite the fact that they really do violate the ToS.

You could try looking in LJ news or LJ biz (sorry, I don't know the specific LJ urls :$ I think I have them friended though, if you want to get to them through my user info =)).

Oh and in LJ news and LJ biz, it's the 5000 comments you should look at ;) Though what LJ says in the posts that have that many comments is relevent too (well, until you go 4 posts back...)
