Chaos Collection.
Aug. 27th, 2007 04:08 pmIt's nothing overly exiciting, but it might remind someone else with a particularly fascinating collection to share. Or it might just be fun to stare at the rainbow spines. Whichever. Behold, the complete chaos that is the storage of my collection!

That's the bookcase where the SVH/SY/SVU books live. They're two/three deep, so you miss most of the SVU collection. It's there on the top shelf behind the SY stuff. I don't really recommend shelving books like this, especially if you're prone to randomly grabbing one that you've stuffed behind two other books, but those are the only two shelves that the cats and dogs can't reach and thus destroy. :P If, for some odd reason you want a closer look, click here.

The twins and Unicorns live as far away from the older stuff as I can possibly get them, but that's simply because for the longest time, this was all I had left of my SVT/Unicorn collection, and it didn't need a ton of space.

Yeah, that changed. :P This is where the other 2/3 of the collection live. On the floor where my phone occasionally sends the top few to the floor. Brilliant, I know.

Nero points out that I have still yet to swap out the pretty versions of my Unicorns so that my collection is all shiny and pretty as much as possible. Of course, losing the box two days after getting it probably didn't help matters much.

Box two shows off the books I'm not bothering to put on paperbackswap for whatever reason. There's a third box filled with books that are on there, waiting. No pictures because I leave it in here [other side of the house] so that I can wrap 'em up when requested. Not that this happens often, but I like to save myself some time.

There's a bag of books I keep meaning to take to the paperback trader so I can fill in other holes in the collection. I just haven't made it out there yet.

My SV map. It used to live on my walls when I was younger and it's pretty much held together on the back by masking tape. It ain't pretty.
Closeups include: Casa de Wakefield. I never imagined the house like that, and man, am I glad I didn't. Of course, I knew full well at the time that the house I imagined was nothing like the house they kept trying to vaguely describe, but it was the only place I knew where two sisters shared a bathroom that led to each other's bedrooms. Um, anyway.
Totally Awesome Prom dresses. Yush. SV High. and the dairi burger. also, the dolly twins. which I own, obviously, but damned if I can find them.

Then there's the game, which I always sort of wanted when I was younger, but didn't get. Until now. Still haven't played it, but one day. One day...
school. bruce? Poor Lila...

While I can't find the dolls, Elizabeth's bookbag has lived on Bob, my desk, for years. Go figure. Also, NFI where the pad came from, but hey, shiny.

I loved me some SG goodness back in the day. That'd be both the Spice Girls and Savage Garden [still do] and so I had a ton of those teenybopper magazines because the real ones wouldn't give Savage Garden the time of day. :P They also happened to occasionally do something on SVH.

Ah, good times. If only I could find my puzzles.

I shouldn't, but I love my ex-library copy the best.

Oh, Dear Sister, I love you so.

Mmmhmm.

Tis funny that the first go round, the colors clash. Stupid red. Stupid, stupid red.

Twins. Funny how when they'd do the same for the SVH books, they didn't seem to get so fuzzy.

One day I'll manage to snag the other reissues. Mebbe. Could be.
That said, that is the weirdest assortment of reissues with the Daniel twins on the cover. I know they re-did Wrong Kind of Girl, but what about Power Play, or Playing With Fire, or hell, Dangerous Love? Confused am I.

Date: 2007-08-28 09:37 am (UTC)Photo cover boys much yummier. Which amused me because I find the Daniel twins to be of the super scary variety for most of the covers. The eyebrows or something.
