Yesterday I finally sat down and watched Georgia Rule. Don't look at me like that. It's been well documented that I like movie Lindsay, and as such, I was duty bound to see the movie. That and I wanted to. Y'know, for all the crap I kept hearing about it, and the eye rolling people gave me when they heard it was the movie I still had out, it didn't suck. It really, really didn't. I know, I'm surprised, too. I'm not saying it's the best movie ever, but it's a good movie and I cried at the end. Because I'm overly weepy, I suppose. It's a shame it was overshadowed by Lindsay's inability to show up on set when she was supposed to and the subsequent bitching out, but it's not like the trailers actually let you know what you were in for, anyway. It all but said, "Oi, chick flick here!" but kind of neglected to let you know which sort of chick flick. First rule of CF: there must be something sad. I just figured it was the distance between Georgia, Lilly, and Rachel. Oh so wrong.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to finish Swimming Without A Net.

I usually like movie-Lindsey, despite hating real life-Lindsey, but it was very hard for me to watch Georgia Rules and watch movie-Lindsey acting pretty much like real life-Lindsey. I ended up shutting it off after the scene with the girlfriend at her college, when she finds out she gave the cute religious boy the blowjob.

It's hard not to hate on her. Between her, Paris and Britney, they represent almost everything that is wrong with America these days. She's just not a respectable person and it is definitely starting to reflect in her work.
