Spice Up Your Life

Spice Up Your Life was the last of the, um, normal SG videos to make a big splash over here. They hyped this damn video to hell and back. I think I saw it every morning, every hour, all day long. It was a Big Effing Deal. And I loved it. Because I have no shame. None whatsoever.
Definitely one of those videos where they looked better together than apart.

Oi, Mel.

Scary looks the least scary. Funny that.

The vid predicted the future. Posh decrees and so it shall be done. o_O
Too Much premiered on... UPN maybe? There was a special and then they premiered the video and I'm not sure if I'd totally gone off MTV by this point or it just didn't get chucked into rotation as much, but I basically only saw this when I'd rewatch the special, which wasn't that often.
I don't understand a damn thing about it, either.

Em's all Poltergeist-y. Which is cute, so long as I don't dwell on the movie. Not dwelling...

I remember Mel C garnered a few additional fans for the hair and the look this go round. Still think the gold tooth was stupid.

Aww, Mel B. I... don't get it, but it's fun.

This was to transition to the movie clip where she's terrorizing the fish tank. It's fun anyway.

Geri's all the lady is a vamp.

And Vickie's... in a catsuit. With cat ears, no less. Reow!

.

Stop. Hadn't seen it until late last year. It's an odd little video, but I covet the boots.

Em + Geri = love. Math is like, fun, and stuff.

Vic, giving us a smile and cleavage. Yay?

Aw, Geri.

Viva Forever is hands down their oddest video and is has nothing to do with the artistic twist [them not actually being really in the video, and the sprites being fucking scary] and everything to do with the story. When Cass and I watched this [again, dunno when. I think she got the single and it had the video] we were both kinda "wha?" to the video. I rewatched it upon getting my DVD and I don't remember a damn thing being the same. But Cass watched it too and said we'd obviously just mentally blocked the whole thing because it was the same video.

I swear, I remember a totally different video. I don't remember two boys running into the woods after some freaky chicken thing, popping open one of those plastic egg baubles you get for a quarter, the girls flying out [well, actually, this part I do remember], snagging the bespectacled boy as the other ran away, carting him off to a Rubik's cube, dancing, stuffing him in the Rubik's cube, and then it shrinks and the cowardly friend solves the cube, puts it back in the egg, throws it into a giant machine, and the kidnapped dude never comes back.
I don't remember much of any of that. What. The. Hell?
