I attempted to rationalize it, and I'm close... but I can think of other dolls I want more, and at least one of them is a DAL. :P I'm wondering if this is maturity or just being cheap.

Dolly clothes first. I'd say I just spent more on outfits for them than I ever have for me, but that would be a big old lie. It's the most I've spent on just clothes for them... and I've only just begun. Muhahaha!
