Baker's dozen

Normally I wait until I'm done with a book before commanding other people to join me.
I'm fairly certain that even if I flip the next page and this all goes to hell in a pretty little handbasket, Thirteen Reasons Why is worth it for the first half of the book alone. It has been a very, very long time since I have curled up and read straight through, all while wishing time could stop so I could finish the book immediately, dammit. Anyway, go find a copy. If you're picky and want to know what it's about, let me make it simple: Hannah Baker committed suicide a few weeks ago. Prior to that, she made seven tapes, dedicated each side [except the last] to a person who was partly to blame for her death, and then boxed it all up. The box and tapes are making their rounds and it's just as good as you'd imagine. Better, even.
