impyAlrighty, no calls of panic and my brother hasn't appeared with the wrath of the paternal sort, so either the Widge is missing OR... he somehow made it to school fine as can be. I'm really not sure which, yet, but I'm obviously hoping for the easy out. Much as the story might be awesome otherwise, it could also not be. Also, he really doesn't need anything else at school to freak him out, y'know?
On the plus side for today, I've had an idea in my head for awhile, and this time I think I'm going to continue to sit on it until I actually figure out where it's going. That plan isn't really all that unusual, but the fact that the character is actually sticking around and telling me her story? That hasn't happened in awhile. The terribly masochistic side of me is torn. Do I save for the joyous month of November or do I continue to circle until I get to that point where you have to write something, anything?
I'm hopeful that I might actually fully get into this one because it combines two ideas I've had bouncing around in my head for the longest time. Apparently they just never bounced into one another until recently.
I need to find that little bit I've already written out, though. Now, which of my eleventy-billion notebooks [or Mom's] is it in?
and if you think I'm kidding about the notebooks- I'm not. I buy notebooks like girls are supposed to want shoes. But I lose them like crazy. I think I have help with that, but you never can tell. I might just be really horrible at finding things.
