In the time it took for AT&T to restore my service and explain that my four transfers were more than needed, Michelle Trachtenburg learned to ice skate, complete with commercial breaks.
I'd like that chunk of my life back, thank you.
On the plus side, I hate talking on the phone and I had to talk to four different people and explain the same situation each time. So, yay me. I can't say I've overcome that hurdle, but it's nice to know that I can shove aside the butterflies and do what needs to be done while being all sunshine and light with an undercurrent of, "Dude, when I call you back, I will ask for you by name and you will make damn sure I don't have to pay the fee because you asshats couldn't be bothered to call me and tell me there was an issue with payment."
I collected many names, you see, and two of them promised me good things. So.... yeah. Someone else can do the follow-up, but they can use my research.
Today is Tracy's birthday and she gave me a present. It's a shiny coffee to-go mug from Starbucks. And when I say shiny, I mean that. It's actually glittery and it's so awesome that I might actually have to start drinking coffee so that I can make proper use of it. Can't put soda in there, sadly.
This is what I need. It's also what I would give out if I had the money to do so.
December Third:

I never said these would be deep pictures. Hello Kitty wallet smells like plastic, cancer giving goodness. I know.

This is from when Widget's sisters were here. That's the youngest one, Summer. You'll notice how happy she seems. The only time she stopped wailing and looking miserable was when Thomas came home. :p
