I know, right? I've has DSL for about 8-9 years. Not quite sure that I need fiber optic, and I KNOW I'd never be able to stand dial-up! It's a happy medium!
As one of the last holdouts of the dialup connection, it's like going from crawling, backwards, through sludge to skating. I feel like part of me should always be saying, "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
Sadly, my cleaning of the computer room may suffer since I no longer have as much time to kill while waiting for things to load.
