Finally got around to ordering the new Tori album. I guess I shouldn't say finally as it hasn't been released yet, but ... yes. Is it a bit sacrilegious to say that I'm sort of unsure as to the goodness of new Tori? Because I think I listened to Posse... twice after the initial week. And even then it was to see if the songs and Comic Book Tattoo adaptations fit together or not. Well. Devils and Gods plays in my head once every other month, but it's also what, 45 seconds long, so that doesn't count. So, yeah, I'm a little worried because truthfully I'm not seeing a time when the majority of Posse will be on my most loved list. Then again, I never thought I'd crack Pele, but it's been happening song by song, so there's always a chance.

I really wish the people hitting on me weren't also hitting me up for money, too. :p It's annoying. It also does nothing for me other than testing my ability to smile and not gag outside of work. G'ah.

I'm feeling a bit lonely. Tomorrow is Widget's birthday. The two are not connected as far as I can tell.

Gotta go open a window and lock things up.

I'm not all about Posse either to be honest. It has lots of songs, but I'm pretty sure I've listened to less than half of them a couple times. I still love Tori, but as time goes on the new albums don't reel me in as much. That may change if I give them more listens, and what I've heard of the new album I've liked more than a lot of songs on Posse, so who knows?

I don't think I 'connected' as much with Beekeeper, but I feel the need to defend it when people kick it around [including Tori, it appears] because for all the songs I really dislike [Cars & Guitars] I really, really love some of the others. Posse just never clicked and it's scared me off a bit. So I've avoided the various leaks and sneak peeks of the new stuff, aside from Oscar's Theme and the one you thoughtfully gave me a head's up on Which I don't think I ever said thank you, so thankyouthankyouthankyou! I love you, Tori, but I fear the age gap might've swallowed me whole for awhile there.
