impySo. October 14, and yet here I am. Knock on wood, again. Must call the bank and fix my accounts so that neither is closed, but I think I'm safe for another month. Nov. 14th is a different story entirely. ;)
It's raining and it looks nice and chilly outside, but in reality it's hotter than it's been in weeks. I'd melt if I were downstairs in the land of no air conditioning. But I'm not. So ha.
Eeeep. Dad's home early and guess who didn't go job hunting? That'd be me. I wonder what, if anything, is hiring. Hrmm. Dad doesn't seem to understand that with my very limited wardrobe, I'm not really suitable for most jobs. Unless they're walmart. He wants me to go play temp agency. Like Paige. Only, hopefully, without a packing plant. :p

I love thee, Rose. In a purely platonic sort of way. But now I can make my Love's a Witch banner, which I'm sure everyone is just dying to see. [/sarcasm] It won't be witty, but that's why God invented Halloween. Now that, that'll be fun. :D

Date: 2003-10-14 06:37 pm (UTC)Not that it's really a confidence booster, but I got placed in my current job through a temp agency. Most of it is receptionist and office assistant stuff. Basically if you know Microsoft Word, can type fairly fast, know how to answer a telephone and know a teeny bit of Excel and PowerPoint you can get placed in a decent job. Or if you want to move here, you can work where I work. ;) They're always hiring. And I might get a bonus for referring someone.
