A mixed holiday bag

impyTis the holiday season and I want to know what you want. I make no promises because I suck at them and still owe people from other... things. But occasionally someone will want something I can easily provide, or someone will ask for something so awesome that I must, must, must agree. It has happened. It will continue to happen. The most recent was Cassalicious wanting, but being unable to afford, Sonali. Sadly this counted as both birthday and Christmas for her because, dude, I did not get the nine billion free shipping offers on her (how much does that irk?) BUT still. Now we have twinses and twins is love.
My holiday list for 2009
1) A tall, skinny bookcase. I do not expect anyone reading this to actually buy one. BUT if you find one online or in a store or something, lemme know. My books have outgrown my bookcases and the only other space I have left is smooshing the hallway bookcases together and praying for just enough room for one more. I've seen skinny ones before, so it could happen. Tall is because I need to make up the space somehow and also the cats hop on the bottom two shelves and do horrible things. Horrible, horrible things. So for you lot, it's more of an, "any idea where I can find one?" thing.
2) American Girl stuff. It's expensive, it's addicting, and I'm fairly certain most of you do not have this problem. I do. Since Molly/Emily and Felicity/Elizabeth are both likely to be axed next year, anything for them. I've got Lisbeth (her nightgown and pink riding outfit), Molly's school bag, evergreen Christmas dress, and Emily's holiday dress.
3) Books. I like books. I'm thinking by now you can figure out what I'd like, what I might love, and what I would probably never, ever read. I'm really close to finishing my Sweet Valley collection (excluding kids) but I don't mind quadruples. Ditto for my BSC collection.

SV Twins: 34, 39, 55, 57, 60, 68, 71, 75, 88, 89, 91, 93, 96, 102-105, 107-109, 116, 118 Supers: 4, 11, 13, and Super Chiller #3 the Carnival Ghost (mine got left out in the rain. I cry.)
BSC you can get away with just about anything but to finish my California Diaries I'm missing 2, 12, 13. My poor BSC used to be complete until about... 90 something? Maybe a hundred? And it was doubled for the first fifty or so, but now I can only find bits and pieces. I suspect the others got lost or stolen way back when. So, so sad. But good for you since, y'know, anything is good.
4) A librarything paid account. I'm Impy there. I'm a dork everywhere, it's true.
5) Shiny things. I like shiny things. Don't you?
That's been sitting there for a couple of days. Other things have come up and I don't feel like talking about them until I can safely classify them as the past because anything you say can and will be used against you at a later date. As a result of my brother's least overtly crazy ex (until now. She's since moved much closer to the top of the list) I have spent the weekend cleaning. As has everyone else.
I can't say much more than this: I hope someone finally complained about her inability to bake a blasted thing that didn't make someone sick. Seriously. If you're a baker, you should be able to not make people ill. It's just a thought.
