Send your excess snow here. SEND IT NOW. I would like some snow. I would like more than the six minutes of flurries we had two weeks ago. I figure that unless North Carolina sends us some, by the time it gets here I'd get maybe an inch or so. Doesn't matter. I want snow.
The birds are thoroughly confused. They're singing like it's spring, or at the very least a chilly spring morning. Dude, it's freakin' cold. If it insists upon being this cold, I demand snow. Is only fair. Yesterday wasn't so bad. It just had a massive thunderstorm. Which means snow! Some crazy dude ranted for twenty minutes about that so I demand it be so.
Sale: I know a few of you actually go to Walgreens. Save your Walgreens purchases for Friday, February 12, and use the Friends and Family discount coupon they're supposed to put up on Walgreens.com, their twitter page, and facebook as well. 15% off anything that isn't dairy, alcohol, stamps, cigs, or gift cards, 20% off any W brand item. If you've got coupons for sale or clearance items, even better. (And if the print out says the discount doesn't work on magazines, you laugh at your cashier if they try and say it won't. You laugh and say it freakin' does in S.C. and if it's good enough for us, it's good enough for you.) Dunno if you'll still need to go to cosmetics or photo as our store now lets us do discounts at any register. Yours may not. As always, tell the people you're using the discount BEFORE they start to ring anything up. Voids are no one's friends.

Date: 2010-02-10 03:04 pm (UTC)I wonder why all the drugstores are doing supersales this weekend? According to this blog, Thurs.-Sat. at Rite Aid all cosmetics in the store are 25% off, including stuff that's already been marked down.
