If one ignores the "Eee! Pullips! Wait, why?" reaction, I don't really like it. Three of those four shots are pretty bad (hey, brunette in the front, your eyes are capable of sliding to the right. Why aren't they?) and Pullips can be pretty darn photogenic. :P
I am disappointed, man. It's sterile and blah and the brunette in front is killing me man. Plus I look at it and I don't think "aha! Reality show. Gotcha."
I think toys. Badly lit toys. Which isn't the same reaction the PLL books (also with dolls on the covers, obviously) had on me. That was "oooh, toys and super glossy evil times! Yay!" Or something. It's been awhile.
Point is, if I didn't know what the dolls were, I'd take one look and keep walking. *eyes pile of books* But because I do know, I at least want to see it in person and judge this book properly by its cover.
Mmm. Book talk. Even if my lack of caffeine made me ramble in a nonsense sort of way. Eep!
