Day 3 - Favourite Outer Senshi




Pluto. Hands down. Okay, fine, it's actually not quite that easy in that I'm one of those people who usually loves them all, but still. Pluto. I am a sucker for the lonely and my friends, she is the Queen of the lonely. When the person you spend most of your time with is Chibiusa? Yes. You are lonely. I love that she whispers her attack and yes, I love that whole "oh, you want to stop time? Well, you'll have to forfeit your life, eh?" thing. Because I am a sucker for that as well.

Some people like sad songs and stories. Other people love them. *waves* Is me.


Superficially, I think she's also prettiful and I love that manga!P wears keys around her waist. It's the little things, man. I don't think I mentioned this for anyone else, but her name? Also of the pretty.


And finally, the fact that if you look up her profile on various things, her dislikes? Cockroaches. Who could dislike someone who comes down against the ickiest of all pests? EXACTLY. You can't.



Oh, yeah, and when the planet was demoted, my dork-brain said, "Oh yeah? Well which one of you is gonna tell Setsuna? Mmmhmm, I thought so."



(Like a lot of these, my brain tends to assign certain friends to certain senshi. Saturn is a very close second favorite, and my brain keeps thinking of the Canadian wonder when I think of her. Uranus is attached to David to the point that my brain sees a certain picture of her and I think, "Davidy!" because, you see, I'm an idiot. Or because he used it as his LJ icon for so long. :P )




I have to admit it took me entirely too long to figure out they'd re-released the manga. I'm still trying to figure out what, exactly, they added. And are the short story volumes just the little bits they'd throw in before, like Chibiusa's diary? Dammit, fandom, when I leave you are either suppose to whither and die or send me blatant alerts.

Someone stole the end of my soda. Either we've got a serious problem involving wee folk, or the Widget is a liar. Sad. I spent yesterday (as it's technically Monday now) morning after work cleaning. I wish I knew where the scrubbing brush I bought a year or so ago was. I want to clean the walls. I'm trying to pretend that I'm one of those people who cleans when she's stressed and feels better about things after there's a sparkle in the window.

I am not. It would make things a lot easier if I were one of those people though. Now, if you'll excuse me, my book isn't going to read itself.

Ugh, I know, right?? I'm still pissed I missed out on the bajillion World releases of cute cards, keychains and dolls. And now when I go looking for the dolls I see store sell-outs where they were only like $20 and I just die in withering rage. Gaah!

I'm not too sure on those new books either. I think they are new content, but since shipping's always godawful and I can't read japanese, I haven't sought them out. And I think the new releases only changed the covers, cleaned up some of the artwork like Naoko went back and changed some scenes, but the example I saw, I couldn't even really tell, and they made the overall size smaller. I do really like the new covers, though. :(

I too, wish I would stress clean instead of stress eat. It would solve oh-so-many of my problems. >_>

You are a better person than I, since I assume you didn't chuck your keyboard or mouse at something upon seeing the sell-outs and their prices. I would have. Or at least an empty plastic bottle or something. My rage would be felt! At least by a wall. Poor wall.

If ever I manage to scrounge up the money, I might cave and buy a couple of the new ones just to see what changed. One of the ebay listings had partial scans from the short stories (which are like, twice the price of everything else. o_O ) and I swear some looked familiar. But that could just be that there are only so many ways to draw 8 girls looking at someone like she's just lost her damn mind. The covers are so pretty that they taunt me. Taunt!

Somewhere there's a person who wishes they could stress eat and not stress clean. I would like to swap not so evil powers with them. I'll find their twin and we'll both switch!
