impyDay 4 - Favourite transformation
I have to confess that excluding the first couple of times in each season (when they're still new and semi-interesting) and possibly the last fight of the season, I use the transformation sequences as a time to run for snacks or the bathroom, or I tune out. Add me to the people who think it blows that Saturn has to get her transformation sequence via video games. What the hell.
Like I said, I don't tend to fully pay attention (particularly to poor Sailormoon herself) but this one combines my two loves! Huzzah. So it will work. I love the music the Outers get and my tiny, short attention span can handle the fact that they're like, three seconds long. I love Venus' until the end. The end is awkward to me (as is Jupiter's who would be my next choice) but it's like that for a lot of them. The artwork and all. Ah well.

Date: 2010-07-27 04:38 pm (UTC)Re: this post - I am the exact opposite. I LOVE the transformation sequences and sometimes would pop in a VHS and fast forward just to that part. Now that YouTube has been invented though, I just youtube them. :-D

Man, I'd forgotten the wtf moment that is finding/hearing/seeing Star Gentle Uterus. I can't wait til my brain forgets it and then I can find it all over again.
