Kanani!

Oh, wait. That's Kanani. :D In her box, mostly, at this point. Her hair is gathered up in a hairnet that I think is being held on by her hair clip/flower which means you have to have skills I do not possess OR you have to take the flower off to remove the hairnet.


Her shoes. Which I'm not particularly enamored of. They look cheap and if you have to hold them on with elastic bands that aren't a part of the actual shoe, it means you did your job wrong. (We're not counting the rubber bands that hold the doll to the box.)


Kanani takes a moment to get situated. And also so that I can get a shot of her near the poster for Cass.


Kanani is a photographer so she got a little miffed at how not seriously I was taking this. We had to have a small talk with her about how I operate on vampire hours which means she was essentially meeting me at the equivalent of my 4am and she could just hush about the proper way to take these photographs.


When I say she has a TON of hair, I'm not kidding. Her hair is ridiculously long. This also is a fairly accurate color representation.


She's cute as hell. Like I told Cass, I wouldn't get Hawaiian from the doll if a gun was held to my head and I was forced to guess (unless it was multiple choice), but she's still very pretty. Her eyes are unusual in my group, but I don't know how they compare to other hazel eyed AG dolls. I can't wait until people start customizing their Kanani dolls to have brown eyes or darker hair. Until then, I'm quite happy with my Kanani as is.

But later today she's changing into her pajamas because I say so.
