Order of business the first: Cécile and Marie-Grace, the newest American Girl dolls, have had their book artwork leaked courtesy of calyndra. New Orleans, 1853. Yellow Fever. Huzzah! Wait. That sounds wrong. Whatever. General speculation leads many to believe Addy will be next on the chopping block. I personally think Molly and Emily are still toast first, and that next year will see Addy disappear.

Second order of business:

  I ordered Punzie when Disney was having their Make-A-Wish day. I think there was also free shipping, which helped a lot, too. Anyway, consider yourself challenged, zallia! Punzie is my most recent purchase/arrival, and now it's your turn. Feel free to go with your most recent or surprise me.

I'd agree with you that Addy is probably up next on the chopping block (I'm shocked she hasn't been put away before this). It'll be a sad day when Molly is archived, since she was one of the Original Three...

I think this is their way of avoiding directly stepping on Kirsten's year, which was 1854. Because that one year is going to make such a massive difference. *eyes roll out of head* I wish they'd kept up the '4 thing because really, people. It's your thing, AG. Your thing. Everyone else's stories might have three seconds of time spent in their '4 year, but you stick with tradition. Oi.

I really don't see Addy making it to 2013 without at least having been announced as an archival candidate. I do think that she's safe this year simply because it would be a really bad PR move to introduce one AA character and then turn around and immediately archive the only other one, and the archivals have been starting in the early fall so... it really would be right after. (Okay, fine. I'm also sort of hoping, though I'd prefer it if archivals didn't happen, for Molly simply because I'm 99% done with her stuff that I wants.)
