DT is done!

impyRealized today that other than work, I had not been out of the house since... Widget's church thing at the end of my vacation. So... I promptly went stir crazy. It wasn't pretty. Eventually managed to make it to Target, where Widget bought his ear buds and some other stuff. No sign of any new MH stuff sadly, but I did pick out one of the Liv accessory/clothing packs. (The black jacket and purple shirt). $1.48, yay! My cheapest Target excursion in ages.
I was disappointed but we stopped at Kmart on the way home (funny how the boy had the car all day, but we're gone less than an hour and he's calling and freaking out about needing the car back.) and Widget and I ran in. I get slightly confused because they changed the toy aisles sort of (and sort of not) so it's hard to remember where things are and where they should be. I finally remember they moved the Mattel girl stuff to the back and I see... DT Clawdeen. :D She's on the very top shelf, but luckily I am tall enough that I grabbed one easily enough. She's lovely, she is. :D Technically, if Amazon ever gets her in for the 29.99, she'd be cheaper there, but I figured it was worth the extra couple of bucks to not wait and pick out my own.
Also, no guarentee that she'd be in stock before my Prime membership ends, so... yes. They also had Classroom Lagoona who was hiding Frankie and Ghoulia! I debated buying all three, but Frankie's face looked... dirty. It's hard to describe. So I put her back behind Lagoona (there were two of her to one of the other two) and price checked the clearance Twilight Sparkle Hot Air Balloon MLP. $16 wasn't that good a deal, so I didn't buy it.
I reserve the right to sweet talk my way to Walmart/TRU and see if their exclusives have appeared, but for now I'm pretty content and feeling oddly virtuous at having left something behind. :P
Oh, and Kmart also had Moxie Teen Melrose for $7. Sadly I can't hear her name without thinking of ANTM Melrose so.... no.

Date: 2011-08-01 06:29 am (UTC)Argh, I went back to Kmart and asked the guys in the toy aisle if they had anymore MH stuff that wasn't out and one said "Yeah, we have a ton in the back!" but he wouldn't get me any and said they wouldn't put it out til after the reset, but no clue how long that takes? Maybe there will be a girl I can ask next time who will be nice for me.
