My fingers are crossed for good luck. :D I loathe it when you get all excited and the PBS people do not send the book or sign into their account in time or whatever. It makes me sad. Sad I say!
I forget when I originally stopped reading the SVT books, but it was before the house o' Evil, because I remember walking past them in Kmart and thinking "No. Way. Really? *grabby hands*" Which was also how Evil Elizabeth (creepiest cover ever, yes? no? Possibly?) came home. I don't remember much about Evil Elizabeth beyond the cover is banished to always, always, ALWAYS having something on top of it because, yeah. The evil house books I think I liked. I don't remember a ton about them beyond being kind of surprised that it was a SVT storyline and not a SVH one.
But otherwise I say no to orange. The stuff I've read after those is just... not good. Sort of like the first part of the Unicorn series is awesome (for me, anyway) and the part I didn't know existed until I wound up on PBS? Not so much.
I wonder what prompted the switches, other than I'm guessing sales were down and it was time to adapt again. *muse* Vampire SVH is good for icon, not so good for much else... other than vampires are real and werewolves are not.
SAM WOODRUFF NOW, SAM WOODRUFF FOREVER! SVU Sam doesn't exist in my world. Yes, even though I own his Secret Love Diary (*sporfle*) This. This so hard. SVU Sam was just" ... what? No!" from start to finish... well, as finished as SVU got, that is. Why couldn't the magical vodka take SVU Sam down? If one Sam goes down, they all go down!
Oh little bookstore of crack and win, SC is a cute little southern state too. Surely we deserve a lovely little bookstore of awesome, yes? Like... near me. None of this upstate/practically Georgia or NC nonsense. :p
