  God, how many people are going to choose Abby or Logan for easy answers? ... You can add me to that list, k? It's not that I don't like Abby, it's just that by the time she showed up, my interest level had disappeared and she was replacing Dawn. She was a super jock with a big mouth (like Kristy!) and had stolen Jessi's little remembered so called sense of humour (that was frequently questionable at best), and her twinliness wasn't enough to measure up to the Wakefields. I've grown to appreciate her a bit more as I've actually read through more Abbey books, but I don't have the same warm fuzzies associated with her that I do the others.

   If you're taking both Abby (too new, too easy!) and Logan (too male!) off the plate, I'd go with Kristy because of all the sitters, she and Dawn suffered horribly in the hands of the ghosties. It's almost criminal. Mallory got kicked around but Kristy (and Dawn) both became extreme caricatures of themselves and it was painful to read then and is even moreso now.
