D15 Favourite BSC fight: I quit! You can't quit, you're fired! Stacey breaks up with the BSC. It was far enough into the series that I'd begun to wonder why it hadn't happened sooner and yet, at the same time, I believe I was very much of the nooooooo! Don't go! reaction. I wish I could say something more about it, but really, what else is there to say? Stacey gets fed up with the dictatorship and the spending every spare second of her already busy life babysitting and reporting back to Kristy.
While she handled things badly, really, I can't blame her for wanting out.

Runner up? Mary Anne lashes out and reveals her passive aggressive side in MA Saves the Day. (Won't lie. I read the graphic novel of this book to feel better about things. I love it something fierce.)

I am apparently trying to break my fingers or something. Last night at work as I clocked in, I looked down and tried to brush away a lint ball or something and sliced the hell out of my finger. It was so bad that it took a second before the blood gushed forth. Then about an hour later, I slammed my hand into something near the register. Repeatedly. And this is on top of my infected finger on the left hand. :(

Now, I would like to kick myself repeatedly. Over the past week or so, TRU has had the Sweet 1600 MH dolls in stock at various times. I was THISCLOSE to snagging Clawdeen but didn't because TRU does horrible things to you in shipping prices.

Before you congratulate me on being smart, I joined whatever their free shipping thing is for a free trial... so that I'd get Widget's gift shipped free and for most of December I could get anything from TRU shipped free. Sooo... yeah. I'm an idiot. The only good thing about this is that I probably shouldn't have done it anyway, but Clawdeen! Or any of them, really. D'oh!

I spent yesterday running a virus scan on the computer. It took forever. People have been doing unspeakable things to my baby! D: To kill time while I sat here and told the computer "yes. Kill it with fire." I cleaned out the glass ornaments I'm going to either fill with glitter or make into a painted splendiferousness. I found pictures for my ornament craft thing. (I later scanned them in at work.) I cleaned a bit. I scooped out the old wax melts that no longer have any smell and replaced them with a super yummy cherry one. I cleaned a bit more. Had some icecream. Civilizations rose and fell while my computer decided to see how many viruses it could find!

And all this typing is difficult with two fingers that hurt and a third that's kind of ouchie due to the repeated slamming.

So. Food. And now a moment with...

You there! You wants a gift, yes? Yes. So HINT already, dammit!

Ah. Much better.

Book #4 was just...yes. Definitely one of the most realistic portrayals of preteen friendships and junior high angst in the entire series. It definitely made me like Mary Anne a whole lot more than the first three books did - and remember when Dawn was awesome? LOL.
