I'm going to try and celebrate the mighty month of October, even if it did start badly and deny me the chance to see if zallia and I could make it rain down MH dolls upon an unsuspecting population. For now, anyway. For the next month you'll be forced to endure pictures, movies, and useless ramblings (sometimes all three and more!) as I dance through my favorite month of the year.


Yesterday Widget and I hung up most of the Halloween lights. I still have a strand or two of purple lights to decide what to do with. I'm tempted to exchange the set I bought a week or so ago for a green set just for fun, but purple lights are so pretty. Do not bother with the candy corn lights from Walgreens. They look nothing like this and instead are a bright, obnoxious orange that is almost painful to look at. I gave Widget the okay to put them up on the mantel but it's just... bright. So... I'm thinking I'll have to find another place for them. Another use. *muse* Where would one need a really obnoxious set of bright orange lights?


While staying up to talk to Donna, I watched 666 Park Avenue which was unusual. The tone never felt right to me, but I'm not sure if that's because it was really sunny and hot outside so the mood here wasn't right or if maybe the Hulu commercial breaks that last for six minutes at a time also contributed to it. I'm intrigued but not in love.
